Week 2

Cathedral of Love Community Church’s 21-day consecration began Monday, January 10. Keep it up! We are heading into week 2 and it will conclude on January 30, 2022. This fast is an opportunity for our ministry to begin the year by consecrating our minds, bodies and spirits. This year’s theme is: Mission IsPossible. We’re asking God to rally Cathedral as a congregation so we will be successful and become mission- minded. This consecration is also a time for increased discipline and personal devotion to Christ.

During the remaining 15 days, follow the prescribed fast as outlined for each day.

Note: If you have any specific medical or dietary requirements, make sure you consult your physician first.

Set aside 30 minutes each day for prayer, focusing on the weekly topics that have been provided. Feel free to pray for anything in addition to these topics, as you are led. Also consider keeping a personal journal of your 21-day experience. You will be able to track how God partners with you during consecration.

Prayer Focus for Week 2

Focus on COLCC Leadership, Young People, New Members and Healing

COLCC Leadership: Ask God to give the leadership of COLCC the resources they need; a heart to lead the people; unity among them; perseverance and anything else that comes to mind as they direct the church.

Young People: Our youth need us to pray for them in so many facets: education, safety, spirituality, proper guidance, the future, etc. Let’s pray for them so they are equipped to face the world today and in the future.

New Members: Pray for any new members and visitors that come to or commit themselves to the Cathedral of Love Community Church. Pray especially that the word they receive will fall on fertile ground. Pray also that they are dedicated and that they are receive proper guidance from leaders and the congregation. Pray also for their success, finances, and anything else that comes to mind.

Healing: Ask God to heal the sick and shut-in so that someone would witness the miracle and turn to you. If you have issues spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, or financially, pray for yourself in those areas. Also think about others who may need prayers in those areas.
